Hermione de Paula has really inspired me to create my own prints for my next university collection. Her detailed prints on light silk chiffons are something I'd like to re-create in my own way. Since I love all these dark&dingy death-metal band T-shirts, I thought I'd have a go at my own (inspired by a 36CF band T-shirt) and see what happens. I'm not very good at photoshop... but here it is!
I'm now thinking along the lines of a collection called Good Vs. Evil (simple but memorable!) with good and evil styled prints on transluscent chiffons. I'd incorporate them into feminine floaty garments, which are also constricted with corsetry and very tight (printed!) spandex leggings. A link would then be created with good&freedom and evil&constriction. Does that make sense? The idea works in my head anyway. Suggestions or comments welcome!AnnaLee xox
ps. Sorry to be anal and seem cocky by copywriting it... even though the images aren't all my own, I still wouldn't mind being able to use it for 3rd year. I did create it myself... so yeah, I guess it's reason enough, just in case! :s
